Place the lens on the index finger 
of the dominate hand.

Control of the patient's lids is 
the same as in method 1.

Instruct the patient to look up.

Place the lens on the inferior bulbar 
conjunctiva using the same technique 
as placing it on the temporal 
conjunctiva.

Instruct the patient to look down, 
release the lids, and have the 
patient blink.
